In connection with 17th anniversary of the Security Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs a solemn ceremony was held in the yard of the administrative building, which was opened by the Chairman of the Department- Giorgi Bagrationi with a welcoming speech. The event was attended by employees of the Security Police Department, Deputy Chairmen and Heads of the Department units.
At the event, 128 conscripts from the Security Police Department participated in oath taking ceremony. The conscripts underwent 10 days of training before taking the military oath, after which they will be enrolled in the contract service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and will undergo one-year compulsory service in various subdivisions of the Security Police Department.
Giorgi Bagrationi congratulated the employees upon the anniversary of the Security Police, introduced the implemented and ongoing projects in the Security Police and reviewed future plans.
